Hello everyone... I just found out I made it to round 2 of top blogs 2011. If you have a moment, will you vote for me here? https://apps.facebook.com/opinionpolls/index.php?pid=ABXqmBRFHZs Winning would be amazing!
Most of you know by now that I have 2 scottie dogs that I just adore. When I saw this cute pattern here... http://allsorts.typepad.com/allsorts/ I knew I had to make it. I started by cutting out 2 red scotties for each ornament.
Next, I stitched them together with turquouise DMC floss and stuffed them.
To make the flower embellishment, I die cut 2 felt circles and then cut notches around the edges to make a Mary Engelbreit looking flower. Gosh I love her, don't you?
Of course, I added a little ribbon around the neck too.
For the card, I used the same pattern and cut out 2 on the fold.
Almost, but not quite as cute as the real thing!
You are right! Super cute! My dogs extend their woofy hellos to the scotties!
