Nesting doll cards

Recently, I was searching for a birthday card and realized my card stash was really low.  I decided to make some cards using my nesting doll rubber stamp set.  The hero arts set came from Archiver's.  I bought it a few years ago, but I think they still have it.

Rubber stamps aren't inexpensive, but you can use them a million times.  I've made so many cards and tags with this set.  The little dolls are lots of fun to color.   (I still love coloring, I admit it!)

This paper is just plain gorgeous together.  I just used a bunch of scraps from different projects.  The fabric underneath is from crafty planet... I'm not sure what I'm going to use it for yet.  When I make cards I almost always piece together the background from a few different papers.

I used copic markers to color in the images.  They are amazing.  Expensive, but worth it.  Each nesting doll image was placed on navy cardstock.  I adhered them with mounting tape and added a couple little flowers.

  1. I'm so glad you talked about the markers, cuz I was gonna ask about that. I need to make an investment in those markers! They are such cute cards. And yes I have a set of nesting dolls, that my brother brought me back from Russia when he went there on a high school trip.
