baby owl pillow

I had lots of 2 1/2 inch squares left over from my latest project, so I decided to make a little owl pillow with them.  I started by sewing them together.

Next I folded the fabric in half and cut out a simple owl shape.  At the same time, I cut out the back.

After sewing them together I added 2 wings.  The eyes and beak are the same shape that I used for the little hoot hat.

I stuffed it with polypellets and fiberfill.  A fun project, all made with scraps!

  1. I love the patchiness of the Owls and the whole idea. Great way to use all those pieces and such fun. ❤

  2. How cute! I may try one for my little girls; they'd love it.

  3. Too adorable! I sent your link to someone hoo is an owl lover!

  4. Now this is the cutest thing I have seen in ages! I love the patchwork and the darling little wings. Is it going in your shop??

  5. Saw your owl over at Sumo's Link party. It is just darling. Love the fact that you made patchwork fabric first, then cut out the owl from that.

  6. This is so fun Owls are so popular and yours is delightful Thanks for sharing on Becolorful
