This week I am going to be showing projects for Teacher Appreciation week. I will be appearing on Fox 9 http://www.myfoxtwincities.com/ Saturday, May 5th at 7:30 a.m. showing all these ideas and more!
Today I am going to be making a crayon wreath. This is such a fun project, and would be so cute in your child's classroom. Start with a wreath form and a whole bunch of new crayons.
Just start gluing those crayons on the wreath form. I started with E6000 but ended up using hot glue. It takes awhile... have your child sort out the crayons for you to glue on.
When I was finished I made ribbon rosettes to decorate the wreath. I used 2 inch wide wire ribbon... All you do is knot the end and twist the ribbon as you make a circle. I've been wanting to try these for so long and they are soooo easy.
I added them to my wreath with hot glue, and a button in the middle of each.
You probably wouldn't want to hang this up outside, but it would look awfully cute in a school or a craft room. Come back tomorrow to see another fun idea!
the ribbons, the flowers, the buttons: adorbs!
