Saturday was Dr. Suess's birthday. We've been celebrating last week and this week at preschool.
One day we read One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. We had a special snack of jello and swedish fish.
We made fish handprints too.
Of course, we made the cat in the hat.
We read the teacher's condensed version of Horton Hears a Who. Sometimes 3 year olds can't sit still through even the best books!
This week our school is performing Suessical! We are also going to be making green eggs and ham (a paper version). Do you have a favorite children's author? I can't pick I have so many!
My granddaughter's birthday party theme was Dr. Seuss this year and requested books for gifts and donated to the heart hospital for children. She is 5 years old. Had a great time decorating with that theme.
