Don't forget... I'm on fox 9 twin cities tomorrow morning at 7:45 a.m.! I've been busy getting lots of fun projects ready to share!
I really love big letters... have you noticed? They are inexpensive and give a big impact. So many people at Hannah's graduation party asked me about her big letter H... you can see it here... http://jennicanknit.blogspot.com/2012/05/graduation-week.html
Back to the USA letters. They are just a couple dollars each at the craft store. I painted them red and sanded the edges a little bit.
Next, start cutting paper to fit the letters. For some parts, I had to trace the letter and hand cut the paper out. I glued the pieces in place as I went.
Once they were covered, I added a few star stickers...
Such a fun 4th of July decoration. It would be a great hostess gift too!

ReplyDeleteI love the large letters and you mentioned you can get them at the craft store. Is there a particular craft store that sells them. I live in the country so I don't frequent craft stores unless I am in town. And help you can off is appreciated. I love your style. Thank you, Fran
