Crafting with friends...

Hi everyone... graduation is over.  It was a big success... a wonderful party.  I'm definitely happy to have it over with.  This is one of my favorite pictures from the day...
my wonderful friend Kay made these gorgeous ice cream cone cookies.

They couldn't have looked cuter and they were delicious too.  Thanks Kay!  I had so much help from friends at the party.  I couldn't have done it without them!

I think one of my favorite things to do is craft with my girlfriends.  It doesn't happen very often, but when it does we always have a great time.  Recently, I got to spend a day with dear friends doing just that.  Before I went I put together a few little kits so we could all do the same projects.

It doesn't take much to make some really cute tags... some punches, cute paper and a little baker's twine!

Everyone left with a big pile on all purpose tags for gifts.  Everyone had fun expressing their creativity!

We made a couple cards too!

Here is the darling group of ladies who crafted...

even my little nephew got into the action!

  1. I love the cookies and your daughter is adorable in her beautiful dress and shoes. I love making those tags, I made 35 of them as thank you notes for the teachers. The cookies would get a blue ribbon. You must be exhausted.
