Our family loves waffles... today I'm going to give you my recipe. I got it the morning I got my waffle maker... it was in the hints from Heloise column! I usually double it!
2 cups bisquick
1 egg
1/2 cup oil
1 1/3 cup club soda
1 tsp almond
Whisk all the ingredients together and pour into your waffle maker. My husband got me a nice one at Williams Sonoma.
I serve them with melted raspberry jelly...
or chocolate chips. Sometimes I had a little brown sugar and some half and half to the syrup.
They are darn good... I promise. I'm off to the scottie dog festival in Waconia today. They have a scottie themed garage sale. Big fun! xoxo Jenni
I'll have to try your waffle recipe...sounds good :)) Have fun today!
ReplyDeleteI can change my comment to I HAVE made them....they're so light and yummy!! :))
ReplyDeleteI like pancakes better. However, I do eat waffles and would love having some of yours.
ReplyDeleteThe addition of club soda really makes these light...almost Belgian Waffle-y :)
ReplyDeleteThese waffles are deeelishus. like crazy amounts of good. I have frozen them between pieces of waxed paper to make my own fancy eggos. I borrowed your waffle maker to do that, jenni. Thanks for sharing!
