Baby Jesus ornament

 Today is the last day of the handmade ornament series.  I really enjoy coming up with the ideas... but it is lots of work.  Today's ornament is the most important... a little baby Jesus.
This is a great one to make with children.  They will love wrapping the little felt blanket around baby Jesus.  I plan on making something like this for my preschoolers to play with in December.
You will need peg dolls, a little raffia, gold pipecleaners and some felt.

I cut the felt so it would be easy to wrap it around the peg dolls.

I made a little hay bed out of raffia, hot glued to a piece of sturdy cardboard.

I added a little halo made out of a pipe cleaner and it was done!
