If you read this blog, you know I have a thing for nesting dolls. I just love their cuteness. When I saw this great fabric at crafty planet recently, I knew I had to do something special with it.
Gasp... there was an uncovered lampshade just waiting to be covered!
I bought the ribbon a long time ago at an estate sale. Probably from the seventies but who knows. Love the colors.
This lampshade was an easy one to cover... I cut the fabric in a long strip and wrapped it around the shade, using spray adhesive.
It makes the room. Love, love, love it. I still have some fabric left, for a pillow perhaps? Do you have any images that you can't pass by?
I love nesting dolls also. I collect them from yardsales. Love the fabric!
ReplyDeleteJenni, The lamp is to die for. You did such a fantastic job. Love it. I can't pass up anything with a Scottie Dog on it or anything with Cherries on it. It is an addiction.
ReplyDeleteINCREDIBLE and CREATIVE and DELIGHTFUL... just like everything you do!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious little lamp! I saw some of these nesting dolls recently at a flea market and thought they were so charming.
