A few of my favorite pictures from the trip...
We played outside a lot...
dyed eggs for Easter...
Bought cowboy boots and hats...
I found an amazing quilt store in their tiny little town...http://featheredstarquilt.com/ They had beautiful fabric and gorgeous quilts!
If you email the shopowner, she might give you the pattern for the quilt you see below... it was adorable!
We spent a lot of time crammed into the van. I worked on fair isle Christmas stockings that I will share soon. This is my nephew and my mom... they are cuties!
The bluebonnets were in bloom and they were everywhere. The perfect color blue if you ask me.
In Dallas we did a little swimming, hit Six Flags and a Ranger's game. It was a splendid week all around.
We put the fun back in dysfunctional!
Looks like you had a great time in Texas! Love the bluebonnet pic and am dying to know more about the quilt store. I'll be checking into that for sure!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your nice comments! I enjoyed meeting your family and look forward to your next Texas visit!
