shamrock plate

It is your lucky day... this week in honor of St. Patrick's day I'm doing an amazing giveaway.  Tessa Clogs http://www.tessaclogs.com/ is giving away a pair of amazing red handpainted clogs.   All you have to do to enter is leave a comment!  Also, make sure you are a follower of my blog!  I will announce the winner on Saturday!

Today we are going to make super simple decoupaged plates.  My daughter, Isabelle made  1 for her Godmother and 1 for me!

You will need a plain glass plate, a shamrock doily, green paper scraps and some mod podge.  I had some shamrock stickers too.

Mod podge layers of patterned paper on the back of the plate right size down.  Isabelle put the shamrock in the middle of the plate.

Cover the back until there is very little plate showing.  Let them dry overnight... and voila, a St. Patrick's day plate!
