painted projects

Hi everyone!  Do you have hydrangeas at your house?  We have a bunch in my front yard.  This summer I dried some of them and spray painted them blue.  

I love that Krylon spray paint.  I get a little carried away with it sometimes.  These would be cute sprayed red for Christmas too.  I'm not into dried flowers but I like to put them in my pots and window box with evergreens.

Here it is on my front door.  I just added a little bittersweet to it too.

Speaking of spray paint, I bought these stools at Goodwill for $7.00.

First I painted them yellow, and then changed the paint to red.

 I cut a bunch of October Afternoon scraps up... a bunch were curved to fit the edge of the stools... added some mod podge with a foam brush...

Let them dry and coated them with a glossy sealant... voila... cute new stools!
