Boo letters

Happy October everyone!  I've got all sorts of Halloween ideas to share with you in the next few weeks.  I will be on fox 9 sharing lots of projects this Saturday morning at 8:15.  If you live in the Minneapolis area, I hope you will tune in!  I ran into someone at Michael's last week who had seen my last appearance!  Ha!
For today's project you will need paper mache letters that spell out BOO and some Halloween scrapbook paper scraps.  Before I started cutting my papers, I painted the letters black.

I love all the bright Halloween colors, don't you?  I just got a book that showed lots of pink, orange and turquoise for Halloween... I just love nontraditional colors like that.

The only trick to this project is cutting the paper scraps to fit the letters.  For a few of the curvy pieces, I laid the letters on top and traced them.  I glued the papers onto the letters... you could use mod podge on top too.

Have you made anything amazing for Halloween yet?  I am hosting my bookclub next week so the pressure is on to get decorated.  It is the first time most of them have been to my new townhouse, so it has to look cute, right?!
