Button collage ornament

Welcome back everyone... I'm on day 5 of the 24 day ornament series.  For today's ornament, I wanted to use these gorgeous scrapbook embellishments by joelee's boutique.  They are so gorgeous, and so expensive that they ended up on super clearance at Michael's.  I got the little pressed wood rectangles at Michael's too.  Bob drilled a hole in the top of each for me.

First I painted the rectangles cream.  While I was waiting for them to dry, I put together a bunch of tags using some of the buttons from the kit.

These tags and buttons were designed by French General https://www.frenchgeneral.com/

I just glued the elements to the tags.. so simple.  O.k., back to the ornament.

I layered the button cards with some polka dot paper and some small cards by October Afternoon.

I used the French General ribbon for the top of each ornament.  Aren't the packages gorgeous?

That's ornament number 5... quick and simple.  Hopefully, your Michael's will still have the embellishments on clearance.  Good luck bargain hunters!
