Back to school clipboard

I just love clipboards.  They look so official don't they?  I use one every day I teach preschool... so I decided to make myself a new one.  I bought this one at Crafts Direct, but I've seen them at Michael's and lots of other places.  I started by taking the metal clip at the top off.

I had a bunch of paper scraps around from my week of back to school crafting.  The week before I go on t.v. is a craft explosion around here, let me tell you.  

I cut the pieces to fit the front of the clipboard.  The blue papers you are seeing are from October Afternoon's newest line.  They are just gorgeous.

The great thing about this clipboard, is that it has pegs in the back so you can stand it up and use it for display.
