apple week

It's apple week this week at the vintage umbrella.  I've got a bunch (or a bushel) of cute projects to share with you.

I bought these cute apple cutouts at Walmart for $1!  There were 20 in the package.  I cut out scrapbook paper to fit on the white part of each apple.

I sewed the paper on with a zigzag stitch.  People think you need a special needle to sew on paper... nope!  Sometimes, it's easier than gluing.  I love how it looks too.

Once I had sewn the paper to the apples, I sewed the apples onto yellow polka dot ribbon.

I have one in my house, and one hanging in my preschool classroom.  I'll show you where later this week!
