An apple for your teacher...

My girls all finish school this week.  I love summer but I always get a little bit anxious about all the chaos and free time.  It is grand central station around here which can drive me crazy.  Today's project is a little thank you gift for one of my daughter's teachers.  I love it so much, I just might make another for myself.
Start with an unpainted tote bag, green and red craft paint and an apple.

Did you do this in preschool?  Paint the apple and use it as a stamp on your fabric.

Add some green... I used the side of a paint brush for the stem, and cut a little piece of apple for the leaf.

I put some paper in the pocket so the paint didn't leak through.

Sometimes the simplest projects are the best!
