Handmade ornaments

For the past 2 years, I've made 24 handmade ornaments in the month of November.  This year, I will be making felt storybook ornaments for a Christmas tree at preschool.  I've made almost all of them and they are soooo cute!  Today, I wanted to do a little round-up of my 10 favorite handmade ornaments.  If you want to look back on the past 2 year's ornaments, look at the archives in the month of November!

These little pipe cleaner dolls are made with pipe cleaners, wooden beads and assorted trims.

The felt pigs were modeled after a preschool art project!

These nesting doll ornaments are made with mod podge and fabric!

I wrapped stryrofoam balls with yarn and knitted little hats for these snowmen.

These birds, nests and eggs are all found in the craft store.

Dala horses are a favorite of mine... these are made with felt and ric rac.

Another mod podge ornament... this one is made with a plastic ball and wrapping paper.

The button wreaths are made by stringing wire with buttons and twisting them into a circle.  Add a little ribbon and some jingle bells to the top!

The Santa owl was my first handmade ornament.  I made little tags to go with each ornament the first year of the series.  I must admit, it is a cute one.  Made with felt and stitched together with dmc floss.
My favorite handmade ornament is this sweet, simple Baby Jesus.  It's made with a little peg doll wrapped in felt.  We will be making these in preschool this year.
Have a crafty weekend!
