Heart bag

Hello friends!  Are you in the mood for valentine's day yet?  Today's project is a super simple painted heart bag.  Kids just love bags, don't they?  I got this plain muslin drawstring bag at Hobby Lobby for around $5.  I was going to give it away... but it turned out so cute, I might just keep it for myself.
I also bought the heart stamps at Hobby Lobby.  They are definitely going to make an appearance at preschool this week.

Paint the stamps with a brush and then press onto the fabric.  I put a piece of cardboard inside so the paint didn't soak through.

Most of the hearts needed a little filling in with the paint brush.

I used a pencil eraser to make polka dots too.

The hearts needed a little definition so I went around them with a black sharpie.

Isn't it cute?  So simple and inexpensive!
