As most of you know, my oldest daughter goes to college at University of North Dakota. I wanted to make her a simple valentine countdown for her dorm room. February can get pretty bleak in North Dakota, hopefully this will start her days out on a happy note.
I started with the pink and white bags I used at her graduation party. I gathered up some cute paper that I had bought on clearance last year. I love the yellow for valentines day... unexpected and cheerful.
These numbers are the same ones I used in the mason jar countdown. You can print them off for free here... http://www.mrprintables.com/printable-math-flash-cards.html
There are lots of cute free printables at that site!
I matted the numbers in turquoise cardstock.
I gathered up some inexpensive little presents... Hannah is a big Hello Kitty fan.
On the front of each bag I glued a piece of patterned cardstock and a number.
I punched holes in some and added ribbon...
and simply folded some over. All packaged up in a metal locker container, ready to travel to UND!
Happy Valentines crafting!
Your daughter will enjoy it so much, the items are perfect. I sent packages, postage isn't cheap but they are worth it.
