artist's canvas

I made this artist's canvas with a bulletin board in mind... I think I will put it in the middle, and hang my preschooler's art around it.  I love the quote... "Every child is an artist" by Pablo Picasso.
You will need a plain canvas and black letters.  I got mine for a couple dollars at WalMart.

Using leftover craft paint, I added colors to my canvas.  Kids would love to do this.

Using a paintbrush, I started painting with each of the colors.  So much fun!

When I had used all the paint, I added white paint to the top with bubble wrap.  

After the paint was dry, I added the letters to the canvas with mod podge.
