Birdie flower pots

Hello my crafty friends!  Today's project is made with my newsprint birds.  Find the free printable here... http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Newsprint-birds

I have had a couple old flower pots in my garage just begging to be painted.  I used a little turquoise paint leftover from Tuesday's eggs...

Next I cut a bunch of birds from the free printable.  I shrunk some of the birds 50% so I could have 2 sizes for the pots.  I used a little paper from a vintage book to trim the top of the pot and the saucer.

They looked awfully cute filled with Gerbera daisies at Isabelle's birthday party.

If I decide to use them outside this summer I will use a coat of outdoor modpodge on them first.
