Mod Podged Christmas tree ornament

It's black Friday, oh my.  I am not at the mall today.  I am anywhere but the mall.  I love to shop but I can't handle the crowds.  In Minnesota this morning it is cold and windy.  A perfect day for crafting inside.  I havent really started Christmas shopping yet, but I did get a few presents for my girls online at http://www.forever21.com/Product/Main.aspx?br=f21 . I've been knitting some surprises too.
This ornament was made early in the morning... can you tell by the dark window?  I don't usually wake up early, but I love it when I do.
I bought these glass trees after Christmas last year on super sale.  I knew I wanted to use old book pages on them...

I tore the pages into strips, and mod podged them onto the ornament.  The paper is really easy to manipulate, you can press it around all the curves without any problem.

I let them dry and added some white and gold ribbon embellishments.  Simple and sweet!

Have a wonderful day friends!
