HOOOOOOOT hat




I'm invited to an owl baby shower this week.  Of course, I had to make the baby to be an owl hat...


I started with a stripey hat that I added earflaps and pompoms to.  I used the kitchener stitch to create the square top.  
I cut eyes and a beak out of felt.



Stitched the eyes and beak on with pink floss...


It turned out pretty cute if you ask me!
