baby owl pillow

I had lots of 2 1/2 inch squares left over from my latest project, so I decided to make a little owl pillow with them.  I started by sewing them together.

Next I folded the fabric in half and cut out a simple owl shape.  At the same time, I cut out the back.

After sewing them together I added 2 wings.  The eyes and beak are the same shape that I used for the little hoot hat.

I stuffed it with polypellets and fiberfill.  A fun project, all made with scraps!

  5. Saw your owl over at Sumo's Link party. It is just darling. Love the fact that you made patchwork fabric first, then cut out the owl from that.
