VeRY HuNGRy CaTTepiLLaR shower

This weekend we had a very hungry caterpillar shower for our family friend.  It was such a fun theme for a party.  We used it in the invitations...

in the baby gifts...

and the party decorations.  My daughter made the place cards by using her thumbprints with green and red ink.

We also made a diaper cake.  We rolled the diapers up and tied them with white yarn.

Next we put a rubber band around two tiers to make a cake shape.

We added some ribbon and a cute caterpillar on the top.

We also made a hungry caterpillar out of cupcakes.  The legs are licorice and the eyes are starburst and m and m's.

The diaper cake looked adorable as the centerpiece.  These cute girls were in attendance.  My oldest daughter is the redhead in the blue striped dress.  We had a great day!
