clothespin wreath

For today's project we are using the humble clothespin.  I just love these wooden clothespins.  So many cute crafting possibilities!

Start with a simple wreath shape... I bought mine at Michael's for $2.99.  It is the flat pressed cardboard kind.  I painted mine yellow.  Next, cover one side of your clothespin with scrapbook paper.  I made a bunch while I watched t.v.
The key to success is to have paper that matches, but has lots of variety.  I grabbed a bunch of my favorites.  If you like things to be perfect, look at a scrapbook for a line of papers that all mix and match.

Start pinning your clothespins around your wreath... I used a total of 67.

Finished!  Isn't this fun?!  I've got a few more in the works... I will show you soon!
