Gingerbread boys and girls

Today is already day 17 of 24 Handmade ornaments.  I got my inspiration from this cute little K and Company gingerbread man.  I used it as a pattern and cut them out of tan felt.

I'm not going to fib... these took lots of handstitching time.  (I like doing it)  I added beads for eyes, little hearts, smiles and pink cheeks.  Then I sewed around the edges and stuffed them.

There are 4 of these because the friend I am giving them to has 4 adorable kids.  I hot glued them to ribbon and made them into a chain.

I've been dying to use my new stamp set from papertrey ink http://www.papertreyink.com/  I think they should give me a discount, don't you?!
