paper dolls

Today is day 7 of the 31 day challenge.   For those of you who just found me, I am giving away a pair of handknit mittens next week.  All you have to do is become a follower and leave a comment.  I pick the pattern, you pick the colors!  Tomorrow I start Halloween week.  I've got lots of fun ideas to share with you!

When my girls were little I used to cut paper dolls for them all the time.  They would color them and play with them for hours.

I bought a couple balls of pink and then used my stash for the rest.  It sounds like I'm talking about drugs which is fitting...

This is how far I got this week... I decided to make it long so Sophia can wear it like a dress.  I really love that paper doll pattern.

I had to pick up some more dark brown to finish the stripes up and found this gorgeous yarn from Three Irish Girls...http://www.threeirishgirls.com/  I am going to a class featuring their yarns in a couple weeks.  I can't wait!
