junk bonanza part 1

Today was a big day for me!  JUNK BONANZA opened this morning at Canterbury Downs in Shakopee.  For those of you who haven't been there before... you just have to check it out.  I loved this idea... flowers made out of book pages and old pattern pieces.  I will definitely be making these.

Everyone's ready for a little Christmas, right?  I love this stuff, straight from Grandma's house!

Every time I see these, I want to start collecting them...

tons of vendors have bins and bins full of the paper junk I just love...

these old croquet balls and exit signs were cute...

lots and lots of vintage pins and jewelery.

I bought one of these cute Minnesota cuffs.

My friend Mary bought this cute window frame...

I love the gold and turquoise together.

This tray was spray painted black with alphabet flash cards mod podged to it.

I bought this jar of vintage buttons and mini clothespin from a vendor called Black Sheep.

Another favorite shop was http://3wrenstreet.blogspot.com/  Aren't those orange letters cute?

I have been loving these little elf books lately... so cute and usually around $3.

More alphabet cards...

This pin was made out of zippers... I want to make them.

Last of all, the one big thing I bought... this cute fall basket.  xoxo  Jenni
