color inspiration Monday

This weekend I went back to Hunt and Gather... dragged 2 of the girls and the husband along this time.  I bribed them all with a trip to Yum Bakery first.  They were actually pretty patient in the store... even dug through bins of letters and flashcards for me.  My prize of the day was this adorable children's color book...

When I was a little girl, I loved picture books like this.  Brightly colored, simple seventies illustrations are my favorite.  I can't pass them by without picking them up and paging through.  This one was a steal at $3.00.  

We had a family friend named Grandpa Sam who always let me borrow books from his house.  I went to the library all the time too...

I love the dog drawings... and of course there is a scottie...
