Thrifty Thursday

It's Thrifty Thursday!  Today I am going to show you how I embellished a plain Old Navy sweater.  I bought it for $3.97 this week...

First I gathered up my supplies.  Some cute colored buttons, yummy wool felt and vintage ribbon I bought in Duluth last week.  I die cut the flowers out of the felt.

I arranged the flowers and buttons to the sweater and sewed them on... next I attached the ribbon.

This looks pink because my good friend Colleen and I did these outside, under an umbrella.  I think everyone that walked past asked us what were we doing?!

Here I am modeling the finished product... completed for around $5!

Afterwards we hit the store next door, D.B. and Company.  That ribbon gets me every time...
