Uncle Sam banner

Today we're going to make a banner decoration.  I have made these for many holidays and parties.  They are so cute and easy to make.  First gather up all the scraps you can find.  All these papers are from October Afternoon, visit their blog at http://octoberafternoon.typepad.com/.  I added embelishments from Jolee's, and vintage postcards I have collected.  If you don't have any you can find them at http://www.countryliving.com/crafts/projects/july-4th-crafts-0707?click=main_sr.  I cut 5 inch by 4 inch pieces of cardstock.  I scored the tops 1/2 inch.  Do you recognize the rosettes from yesterday?  I added those to the banner also.
