4th of July tshirt

Guess what we are making today?  The cutest 4th of July tshirt ever.  This year my extended family of 20 will be at my brother's cabin on Des Moines Lake in Wisconsin.  Darn right, there will be some crafting going on up there.  We are going to be making these fun shirts...

Start with an old (or new) white shirt.  I've had this one for a couple years and it has seen better days.

Next, put some newspaper or cardboard in the middle of your shirt.  This will keep the paint from leaking through the back.  Buy a package of foam stars from Michael's and place them in a random design all over your shirt.  You don't need to attach them, just lay them on top.

Now is the fun part.  Spray the paint (I bought Simply Spray from JoAnn's) all over the tshirt... you might want to put your finger on the stars and hold them down while you spray on top of them.  Your shirt should remain white under the stars.

and that is it... let your shirt dry overnight and wear it with pride on the 4th!
